“The Snow Ball War” is nominated for Best TV Documentary in Europa, the PRIX EUROPA. The documentary serial is directed by Mr Fridtjof Kjaereng for f(x) productions AS i coorperation with The Norwegian Broadcasting Coorporation NRK. The serial also won 3 of the National Awards Gullruten for best best directing, best photography and best docusoap.
The small city of Vardoe is located on an island high up in arctic Norway. The Barents Sea surrounding the
island is aboundant with fish.
But no fisheries exists in Vardoe and the houses are empty. The inhabitants are declaring Snow Ball War
to survive.
